Thank you for your letter of October 3, 1986 regarding the Interagency Group (IG) on Energy Vulnerability.

The NRC is pleased to participate in this important Interagency Group.

I am designating Mr. Edward L. Jordan, Director of the Division of Emergency Preparedness and Engineering Response, Office of Inspection and Enforcement, and Mr. Robert Burnett, Director of the Division of Safeguards, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, to be the NRC's senior representatives to this group.

Alternates will be Mr. Kenneth E. Perkins and Mr. Bernard H. Weiss.
