requests the following interrogatories be answered by PG&E:

A. Please provide responses on a per unit basis.

B. " Fuel Ponds" in the following refers to concrete foundation, inserts liners rebar, racks. bolts, nuts, washers pads, pipes, o,r any co,mponents in contact with the' liner e,ith~er -

directly or indirectly.

C.O.D.E.S. reserves the right to request supporting documents at a later date.

1. Provide beginning, ending and all other significant construction dates for the fuel ponds and if construction stopped before com-pletion, please indicate date and reason for the interruption and Justification and date for resumption and provide dates and rea-sons for any alteration or repair to the fuel ponds.
2. Provide a list of companies who worked on the fuel ponds for both design and construction, when the work was performed by each, and what the work consisted of that each company did.
3. Describe.how many and the location of all dissimilar metal contacts in the fuel ponds.
4. List the various metals and representative items of each metal used in the construction of the fuel ponds.
5. Are manufacturer certifications (mill certs) for chemical analy5is of all metals used in the fuel ponds available?

(a) Were they required by any code or procedure?

(b). State which code or procedure required the mill certs.

(c) List all of the codes or procedures in (b) with their appro-priate dates, revisions, and revision dates.

(d) Did all metals used in the fuel ponds meet the required sp-ecifications?

7. Are. qualification records available for all weldors used in con-struction, alteration or repair of the fuel ponds?

(a) Were these records required by code or procedure?

8. Are qualification and training records available for all quality control personnel who were involved with inspections of the fuel pond work from initial construction to present?

9. Does 10CFR50 Appendix B apply to work on the fuel ponds that is

(d) If answer to 11(c) is yes, describe the disposition of each instance.
