Inspection No. 99990001/86-07 This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. Steven Courtemanche of this office on August 29, 1986 at 81 Alumni Road, Newington, Connecticut, of activities authorized by the general license contained in 10.
CFR 31.5 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Courtemanche with Mr. Leonard Hunter at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas reviewed during this inspection included, the records of the disposal of 3M static eliminator, the transport records of a Beta thickness gauge from Newington, Connecticut to Fort Valley, Georgia and the method of transfer of a Beta thickness gauge to another company. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
