A small amount of a substance, presumed to be oil, appeared on the-lake surface near the outfall from the turbine building sumps (NPDE5 outfall 012, 013, 014)

Resin ha'd accumulated in a turbine building sump and was being cleaned out in preparation for skimmer pump maintenance. When the sump was l

pumped down, the resin was accidentally released.

Tho substance was containad by a permanent boom in place around the discharon. and removed usino absorbent pads and sweeping.
