J. A. Hind letter to Cordell Reed dated March 24, 1987.
Dear Mr. Davis:
This letter concerns the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. G. Pirtle, T. Madeda and J. Knicely on March 2-10, 1987, of activities at LaSalle County Station. Reference (a) indicated that certain activities appeared to be in violation of NRC requirements. The Commonwealth Edison Company response to the two severity level violations contained in the Notice of Violation is provided in the enclosure.
No response was required to the Severity Level V violation identified. Commonwealth Edison agrees that the actions identified in Section 7.b of the report are commitments that were made to your inspectors.
The Attachment to this letter contains information concerning the Security Plan for a nuclear power station and should be controlled in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21.
