RESPONSE TO VIOLATION A, ITEM 1 During the waste gas releat.e referenced, there was a turnover of shif ts, Although the on-coming Shif t Supervisor was aware of the waste gas release in f
progress, it was not evident he was fully appraised of the alarm status for RM-A-7.
To alleviate future problems of this nature, the Control Room Operator Turnover Checklist has been revised to include specific information on review of alarm status and continued operation in the alarm condition.
