1987, informing us of the steps you Thank you for your letter dated May 8,dentified in our letter dated April 28, have taken to correct the violations i 1987. With respect to Item 1, while your letter states that you are filing an appropriate amendment to achieve corrective action for the violation it should be understood that no activity is in accord with NRC regulatory requirements unless and until it is specifically authorized in an NRC license.
Your amendment request has been forwarded to the Regional Licensing Section for action.
Steps should be taken to ensure that NRC-licensed materials are hereafter possessed and used only as authorized by your license. We will examine thu matter during a future inspection.

Dear Mr. Sreniawski:
In reply to your letter of April 27, 1987, reference Multigraphics License No. SNM-1310, I am going to respond to each item of violation along with our corrective action.
Item 1 I would request that you amend your records to show that under License Condition No. 12 the licensed material shall be used by, or under the supervision of Paul Brozovsky, William Murphy, Vilnis Gagainis, William Rafajko and Ed Jordan.
Remove the former names of Bernard Schmidt and Joseph Urban since they are no longer employed by Multigraphics.
Enclosed you will find a check for S60.00 to cover the cost of amending.
Item 2 Under the License Condition No. 13A that requires each sealed source containing licensed material to be tested for leakage at six month intervals, I am enclosing a copy of our Purchase Order for Kits to be used for wipe tests.
These wipe tests were submitted to Ohma::t Corp. for evaluation.
Certification that the results were acceptable came with the six month permit on April 23, 1987.
Our next test will be made during the first week in October, 1987 and continue every six months without fail.
The new certificates have been placed properly on display at the equipment.
