LIMITORQUE MOTOR OPERATED VALVE INSPECTION SCHEDULE AND CHECKLIST On November 17, 1986, representatives of Consumers Power Company met with members of your staff to discuss concerns related to our Safety-Related Motor Operated Valves. We committed to provide a schedule of valve inspections that will be performed prior to the startup of our Palisades Plant. We also committed to include a copy of our inspection checklist.
Attached are copies of our Limitorque Motor Operated Valve Inspection Schedule and EEQ Inspection Checklist. The schedule identifies the specific valve and order of sequence for the inspections, however, some adjustments to the schedule may be necessary should disassembly or assembly complications occur.
We will notify you through the NRC Resident Inspector of any changes that should occur to the schedule.
In addition, following completion of our inspection, we will compile the results and submit a report during the first quarter of 1987.
