This is in regard to your letter of April 7,1987 regarding the meeting of the Harford County Board of Health on May 12, 1987.

Although we were unable to participate in the May 12 meeting, I understand that our Region I office has contacted you concerning a meeting between the Board and Region I staff to be held on June 23, 1987 at 7:00 p.m. Our staff  ;

l will be prepared to discuss the current status of our activities at Peach '

Bottom and the Mark I containment issue referred to in your letter. I am confident that our staff will be able to respond to your questions regarding ,

our actions at Peach Bottom. I We appreciate your support for our recent actions regarding the Peach Bottom plant. Please be assured that we are determined to see that appropriate corrective measures are taken by Philadelphia Electric Company prior to authorizing restart of the plant.
