FOIA Request for Containment Event Tree Renorts on Peach Bottom, LaSalle, Grand Gulf, Surry, Sequoyah, and Zion
Dear Mr. Grimsley:
The NRC Staff is sponsoring research at Sandia National Laboratories and elsewhere which involves the oroduction of detailed, quantified containment event trees (CETs) for six nuclear power plants (Peach Bottom, LaSalle, Grand Gulf, Surry, Sequoyah, and Zion).
These CETs and related reports are being prepared as part of the forthcoming NUREG-1150 report.
NUREG-1150 will be a detailed technical report providing updated risk analyses for these six plants.
It is my understanding that this report itself will not propose changes to NRC regulations or regulatory practices.
Thus, NUPIG-ll50 and the various subsidiary documents related to NUREG-ll50 may not be claimed as being privileged.
Therefore, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, please make available at the NRC's Public Document Room in Washington, D.C., single copies of documents in the following categories:
A.
The Containment Event Trees created for the Peach Bottom, LaSalle, Grand Gulf, Surry, Sequoyah, and Zion nuclear power plants.
B.
All technical reports, memoranda, and other documents which internret these Containment Event Trees or which orovide a key which could aid in their interpretation.

Copies of all meeting summary documents prepared for meetings at which these Containment Event Trees were discussed.
G.
An identification of the FIN numbers and contractors and princiaal investigators for all NRC contracts under which the Containment Event Trees have been created, analyzed, o.uantified, or assessed.
