VITAL AREA VALIDATION AT COOPER NUCLEAR STATION l
The purpose of this memorandum is to document the results of the vital area-validation conducted as part of the Regulatory Effectiveness Review at the Cooper Nuclear Station.
The on-site review phase was performed from March 9-13, 1987.
The team toured the facility to validate the Los' Alamos Vital Area Analysis
-(VAA) computer printout dated July 12, 1984.
During the tour some discre-pancies in equipment.and equipment location were identified.
The corrections which were made to the VAA and incorporated in the Vital Area Definition report are noted in the enclosure.
