-328/87 INFERRED COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TVA has received NRC Inspection Report Nos. 50-327/87-08 and'50-328/87-08 dated April 10, 1987, and provides the following with respect to inferred -

I licensee comitments cited therein:

o Paragraph 4, " Unresolved Items," URI 327, 328/87-02-03, states, j

"The-licensee has stated that permanent control building roof repairs will be made prior to escalation into mode 4."

TVA herewith provides its concurrence with this commitment.

Paragraph 7. " Monthly Surveillance Observations," subparagraph "TS 5.5.1," provides that a technical specification change request will be submitted to NRC before restart of unit 2'to correct the discrepancy.wherein the meteorological tower is not shown on figure 5.5-1 as specified by technical specification 5.5.1.

TVA herewith provides its' concurrence with this j

commitment.

Paragraph 13. " Inspector Followup Items," states (with respect to closure of IFI's 327,'328/85-46-08 and 327, 328/86-20-01),

"The licensee determined that four. outstanding temporary I

alterations required review and/or correction prior to the l

startup of Unit 2."

This' statement is incorrect in that two of the four cited temporary alterations are related to unit 1 only and, therefore, are not required to be complete until restart'of that unit. Accordingly, the statement should be,'"The licensee j

determined that four outstanding temporary alterations required review and/or correction before restart of the respective '

affected unit." TVA herewith provides its concurrence with the conunitment as revised above.
