Temporary Change to Security Plan 4

J We are requesting a temporary change to the Calvert Cliffs Security Plan of Paragraph II.1.2,

" Water Intake Area," Revision 17, Page 10.

We request permission to use the compensatory measures as described in Revision 15, Pace 10, dated 09/85.

Additional installation of the Infrared Detection System is to begin on July 2,1987 and is estimated to be completed by December 31, 1987.

The delay in completing the installation of the infrared has been due to engineering design problems, safety, and two outages, one of which is scheduled.to be completed on June 15, 1987.

My staff and I are at your disposal should you have any questions regarding this request.
