UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY C000lISSION LOUISIANA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPEkATING LICENSE DOCKET NO. 50-382 The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Louisiana Power and Light Company (LP&L) to withdraw a portion of its August 29, 1986 application for proposed amendments to Facility Operating License No. NPF-38, which authorizes operation of the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 located in St. Charles' Parish, Louisiana.
The proposed amendment to be withdrawn would have revised Technical Specification 3.6.1.2 by adding two additional containment penetrations to the-listing for required containment leakage i3 ting The Commission issued a
" Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to Facility Operating License and Proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing" related to the proposed amendment in the FEDERAL REGISTER on September 24,1986(51FR33953).
