In accordance with a request from Eugene Imbro of your staff during an NRC

-inspection team exit meeting on March 13, 1987, enclosed for use in NRC's evaluation of SQN's DBVP is the following report:

Engineering Assurance Over31ght Review Report, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant -

Unit 2, Design Baseline and Verification Program, EA-OR-001, May 14, 1986 through March 31, 1987.

The enclosed report presents the results of reviews performed by the EA Oversight Review Team on the Phase I DBVP activities. The open action items remaining from the reviews have been evaluated and observations or condition Adverse to Quality Reports-(CAQRs) have been prepared, as appropriate, for action by responsible TVA organizations. Closing these items will complete the EA review of Phase I of the DBVP. Although the schedule for closure

depends upon other work underway.at SQN, these items will be the subject of a supplemental report to be issued by EA befort unit 2 restart.
