50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - WITHDRAWAL OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REQUESTS

2. Letter from L. M. Mills to E. Adensam dated October 22, 1984
3. Letter from L. M. Mills to E. Adensam dated June 13, 1984
4. Letter from D. S. Kammer to E. Adensam dated July 21, 1983
5. Letter from L. M. Mills to H. R. Denton dated August 16, 1982 In reference 1. TVA requested two technical specification changes. One change has been approved by NRC.

The second change request, involving deletion of table 3.3-11, is being withdrawn. TVA is preparing a revision to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) to incorporate a description of the fire protection program following the guidance of Generic Letter 86-10.

TVA will submit more substantial changes to the technical specifications, as reconunended in Generic Letter 86-10, when the appropriate UFSAR changes are complete. This item is a convenience' item to TVA.

In reference 2, TVA requested a technical specification change to the list of secondary containment bypass penetrations in table 3.6-1. ~This change request is being withdrawn.

Several potential errors have been identified in that request. TVA will reevaluate the request, modify it as necessary, and resubmit before restart if changes are warranted.

In reference 3. TVA requested a technical specification change to table 3.6-2 to change the containment isolation signal for the containment radiation monitors from containment ventilation isolation to Phase B' isolation. This change request is being withdrawn. TVA has reevaluated the modification and has found that sufficient justification does not exist to 8705270339 870515 A

In reference 4. TVA requested four technical specification changes.

Three changes have been approved by NRC.

The fourth change request, l

involving the hydrogen igniter testing in Surveillance Requirement 4.6.4.3.6, is being withdrawn. Based on discussions with the NRC staff-during the development of technical specifications, TVA will revise the j

item is a convenience item to TVA.

i In reference 5. TVA requested six technical specification changes. Five changes have been approved or otherwise dispositioned by NRC.

The sixth j

change request, involving the substitution of the use of design flowrates for the use of flowrate monitors from tables 3.3-13 and 4.3-9, is being withdrawn. TVA has reevaluated this change and decided that sufficient
