" Sacrificial Shiald Wall Design Supplemental Information" relative to the acceptability of the design of the sacrificial ishield wall above the base.
LACKGROUND This is the second of two reports by the applicant addressing the acceptability of the design of the sacrificiel shield wall in response to consnitmente made in the i
PTAR and to a Post CP item in the SER. We have reviewed and found acc.eptable, the

applicant's first report which describes the dt241gn of the shisld wall's base, but not the shield wall per se. 'This report (WPPSS-74-2. R2-B) addresses our concerns regarding the design of the sacriticial shield wall above the base connection.
An expedited review is requested by the applicant in order to release the " Hold" which has been placed on the construction of the sacrificial shield wall.
