Enclosed for your information, are the Licensee's reports describing their Engineering Evaluation and Repair Program impimented to cor-rect the Lamellar tearing experienced witn vessel plate during fielo welding of two circunferential support structures.
Tne affectcu plate and weld areas werc ultrasonically exanined anc all unacceptabic defect indications were satisfactorily rep 6tred, except for ora 1" x 2" indication and several temporary structurc attachment di $u whicei will be repaired following additional construc-tion activities.
Tne vessel has been pneuuatically tested at 115% of design pressure in accaruar.cc with latt Code Section III. Subsequent ultrasonic examinations disclosed no discernaole growth in known indications and no evidence of any new defect indications.
