ORDER NRC Staff Motion to Hold in Abeyance Further Briefing of the Appeal in This Proceeding'is granted. The briefs of the staff and the State of Illinois in response to the appeal of US Ecology need not be filed pending further order of this Board. The staff is to file its motion to terminate the proceeding ~within ten days following the date upon which the NRC - Illinois agreement in question bears the signatures of the representatives of each of the parties to the agreement. Further, if the agreement has not been so executed by June 1, 1987, the staff shall advise us of that fact in writing and provide its then best estimate as to when the agreement is likely to be executed.
