Dear Mr. Rooney:
Enclosed is a letter from Exxon Nuclear Company, Inc. dated November 13, 1986 requesting an amendment to export license XSNM02161 to increase the quantity of material authorized for export to the Biblis A Nuclear Power Reactor in West Germany and the Tihange 1 Nuclear Power Reactor in Wes' Germany.
Before we can act on this request, a letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
Please note that the material requested for export to the Tihange 1 Nuclear Power Reactor is of Canadian origin.
