RESPONSE TO YOUR LETTER OF OCTOBER 27, 1986-Thank you for your letter dated October 2_7, 1986, in response to our letter-and Attachment A, Notice of Violation, dated October 8, 1986.
Referring to Part A-of the Notice of Violation, we consider.the failure of the inventory team to identify the inadequate seal application on the metal box "D" in 104 to be a repetitive violation. Please _ refer to Notice.of Violation,
- dated February 16, 1984, for details. This Notice of Violation was in Appendix A of Inspection Report _.70-1257/83-09.
We evaluated your request for reconsidering the-severity. level of Part B of.

the Notice and have concluded that the severity level is' appropriate and;is in conformance with 10 CFR 2, Appendix C', Supplement III. The corrective actions you ha've taken will be~ reviewed during the next material control and accounting inspection at your facility.
