Dear Mr.Denton:
The reason for this letter to you is to explain that we our organization is interested in making a complaint regarding the,"Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant 3 which k is being buildt in Long Island New York by the Long Island Light Company.
I have contacted the United States Environmental Protection Agency in New York, New York, and they.have recc6mmended that I write to your department and explain the sit $ ion to you.
I have also written to the Regional Assistance Committe of the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FERA) explaingng our Concern.
Our complaint is in the manner in which the Shoreham Nuclear Plant as been constructed. I uderstand it was so mismanged that it imposed a $1 395 Billion dollar penalty on LILCO for its pervasive i mismanagement by the New York State Public Service Commasion(PSC). due to the faulty mia construction.
There where several inspectors who have come forward and stated massive constructions defeath-on the nuclear plant and Shorehan is constructed without compliances to federal and industrial standards. This plant constitutes a grave threat to the community in and around our city of New Haven and this is why we are Concerned.
