i Under Section C, Description / Specification / Work Statement, Paragraph C.1.3, Scope of Work, the following is added:

Change Task 7 title to " Passing Points /NRC Generic Examination".

Add the following subtasks to Task 7:

7.g NRC Generic Examination Technical Assistance l

(1) PES shall provide generic test specifications and item development materials to the NRC Generic Examination test manager.

l:

(2) PES shall enter approximately 400 questions supplied by the NRC test manager into the PES item bank, reformatting and preparing them for systematic Subject Matter Expert (SME) review. PES shall print each question in review format and send them to three independent SMEs i

selected by the NRC test manager. PES shall design review forms and I

guidelines for the SMEs participating in this review.

(3) PES shall design record forms and procedures and submit them to the NRC test manager for use in reconciling the differences between the l

SMEs. The NRC test manager will forward the reconciled changes to l

PES for entry into the PES item banking system.

1 (4). Following completion of. Task 7 9 (3) above' for each question,'.each question shall be reviewed by the PES ed.itorial staff.for fidelity

to basic item writing standards. This review will evaluate the l

premis'e, the correct response, and the distracto.rs for each question.

Each edited question, in draf t form, shall.be forwarded l

to the NRC test manager for review and approval.

'(5) PES shall assemble 2 listings of recommended questions, one for each of the 2 planned NRC generic examinations. These listings are to be l

each of 100 approved questions which have completed all the review l

steps of Tasks 7.g.(2) through 7.g (4) above. The NRC test manager

will return the two examinations to PES for. final review.

PES will l,

conduct a-final, overall.psychometric' review on both.of the

^ l' examinat' ions and subinit the final copies' to.the NRC test manager for

.fi'nal approval.

(6) Based.on management ' approval and'the NRC pilot administration of the

. l' generic examination, the NRC test manager will forward the test j

results to PES for review and analysis. PES shall submit to the NRC test manager a comprehensive evaluation report detailing the l

reliability and validity of the examination, discussing the l

technically oriented statistics, and giving recommendations.

l Under Section G-Contract Administration Data, Paragraph G.1, Consideration, Estimatgd_Cgst, Fixgd Fee and_Obligatign is revised to read as follows:

It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full performance of this contract is increased by $33,765.48 from l
