NOTE T0: File
-FROM:
Marvin R. Peterson, Assistant Director Export / Import and International Safeguards Office of International Programs
SUBJECT:
EXPORT LICENSE XSNM02302 On November 4 Braunkohle Transport, USA, requested a license to export 15,000 kilograms of low-enriched uranium to West Germany for use in fueling light water reactors. -The export was initially scheduled for export on November 14, but the lack of required assurances prevented the issuance of the export license.
The export is required on an immediate basis and has been rescheduled for shipment on November 21. Because the license-is required on an urgent basis the usual 15-day waiting period for posting to the PDR is waived pursuant to 10 CFR 110.10.
