MEMORANDUM AND ORDER In a letter to the Board of November 17, counsel for Suffolk County (who also speaks for Southampton and the State) has raised two points concerning our November 13 Order which directed LILC0 to file its so-called " Revised Standard Version" of the admitted contentions and permitted responses from the other parties:

1. That the Board failed to deal with the substance of the objection to its competence made by Intervenors; and

2. That the Intervenors, not LILCO, should prepare and submit any new version of the contentions.

We will address the first point on receipt of responses to our November 13 Order. With regard to the second, Intervenors are free to 8611210251 861118 PDR ADOCK 05000322 G PDR pso2.
