401.18 Field Welding Requirementet And.42 401.18.1 Welding shall be in accordance with the requirements of AWS D1.1.

At the option of the Centracter, where base metals thinner than 1/4 inch are to be welded, the requiremente of AWS D1.3 eay be applied in lieu of AWS D1.1. Weldere may be qualified to either ASNE 5 & PV Code Sec-ties IX, AWS D1.1 er AWS D1.3 (for esterial less than 1/8" thick) requiremente.

401.18.2 The following ASTM esteriale shall require one welding precedure quell-fisation for each group of asterialt statalees steel - A240, Type 304 and A312, Type 304; alusinus 241, Type 6061 and B-241, Type 6063.

401.18.3 The precedure qualification to demonstrate weldability specified by paragraphe 8.2.2 and 10.2.2 of AWS D1.1 is not required for the foi-lowing base esteriales ASTM A446, Grades A. 8, El ASTM A526.

401.19 Field Welding Inspection Requirementes 401.19.1 All welde including full penetration groove welds, shall be subject to visual inspection.

report numbers shall be assigned in sequential order by Contractor.

402.1 Turbine-Cenerators Turbine-Driven Steam Generator Feed Pumps and Exciter Utiitst a.

The two (2) turbine generators, including the excitation equipment, excitation control cubicles, hydrogen equipment, stator cooling equipment, bushings current transformers, the four (two per Unit) turbine-driven steam generator feed pumps and the various motor-driven auxiliaries will be installed by others. All of the associated internal wiring on this equipment will be installed by others and terminated either within the eqyipsent or in terminal boxes sounted on the equipment. This Contractor shall install all external cable and any conduit necessary to and frois this equipment.
