1.0 PURPOSE This guideline is for the tabluation of construction elements inspected under the Construction Sample Reinspection (CSR) area of the Braidwood Construction Assessment Program (BCAP).

Its purpose is'to generate an inspection result data. base which will

' be used during BCAP's assessment of the, quality of construction at Braidwood Station.

i 2.0 DEFINITIONS 2.1 Inspection Point Counting (IPC) Forms Forms used to tabulate the total number of construction elements and/or characteristics inspected by BCAP.

Char-acteristics identified on IPC forms are consistent with BCAP reinspection checklist instructions.

Appendix A is a list of IPC forms.

Appendix A identifies population IPC forms

and generic IPC forms.

2.2 Reinspection Verification;Packaces BCAP inspection packages identifing construction elements

, inspected by BCAP inspectors.

3.0 INSTRUCTIONS Inspection Points shall be counted using:

BCAP's original inspection packages (including drawings)

IPC Forms Field walkdown, if required 3.1 Inspection Package Instructions a.

BCAP's Reinspection Verification Packages shall be made available from BCAP Headquarters.

An index of packages counted and packages yet to be counted shall be maintained for each population.

3.2 IPC Form Instructions a.

A population IPC form shall be completed for-each BCAP reinspection verification package, and shall be numbered "page 1".

Where an IPC form calls for a generic IPC form, the hf responsible individual shall determine if the referenced us generic IPC form applies to the packhge and shall circle C

"A" if applacable or "N/A" if not applicable.

Generic IPC forms shall be completed as applicable for.

each package, and shall be numbered sequentially as used (i.e.,

cace 2.3,etc.).

Where IPC characteristics include multipliers (e.g.,

"# welds x5" or "3 per weld"), the basis of the multipliers is summarized on the IPC Form.

When all packages have been counted for a population, an IPC summary shall be compiled using the smme IPC form (s).

3.3 Instructions for Files a.

A separate IPC file folder shall be maintained for each population and shall include the following:

Index of Packages, showing status of counts.

IPC Summary, when counts are complete.

Completed IPC forms filed sequentfally by package number.
