Discrepancy Type Counting Forms CSR-I-E-CPH-104-004 g
These forms were used to generate statistics for each BCAP inspection population.
A form exists for each valid BCAP Observation Record, which counts the number of discrepancies on that record.
Discrepancy Characteristics defined on the form were obtained by reviewing BCAP Inspection Checklists and by discussing these characteristics with BCAP inspectors and engineers.
NOTE:
The characteristics for weld size was reduced from 3 points per weld (2 leg lengths and throat depth) to 1 point per weld (correct size) in the final statistical data base.
Individual forms have not all been updated to reflect this change, but clarifying statements were added to the data base to reflect this change.
This change is consistent for Inspection Point Counts and Discrepancy Type Counts.
