'87 AFR 22 P7 :19 his letter is in regard to the memorandum put out by M.R._ Dougherty and J.W. Gieseker on 8-27-86.
D After I read this memorandum, I was very angry. Things I b said;yere twisted around or misinterpreted. Also I had no knowledge of this information being put in a memorandum and used in somewbat of a manner, against me.There are several things in this memorandom that do not agree with what I said in the meetings. I shall address them.
On page 3, 2nd para. 9th line, I did not say it may have affected sczne of my previous inspections. I said it could start to affect my iob eerformance.If anyone is in doubt of my inspections, they can reinspect them anytime they want.
On page 4 para.IV to page 5 the rest of para.IV. On the matter of the cable spreader rocan, as many times has I asked about the cables being wrote up, not once did anyone say any thing about all the cables were to be reinspected. If scxneone would have talk to me about this and told me,I would have not brought up the concerns.It seems the only time any body wants to get involved is when the problem gets alot of attention, then every-body (MC, CECO,etc.) is all the sudden concerned and has excuses about the problems that are being brought up.
On page 5 para.B 2e point I was trying to make here is production -vs-quality,and sometimes thats the way it happens.
On page 7 para. E the point here is how long had this been happening and how many times was the work procedure violated, due to being told we did not work to this by B. Tuite.
Our inspection procedure does reference the work procedure more than once, we have to use it to ccr::plete an inspection. What we were told to do was in my mind, was a break-down in the quality program every time this was said to scrnebody. I don'.t think I was the only one told this.The cable I had the problem on even though its only a proedural violation,it was never addressed.
On page 8, para. VI and page 9 of the same para. In this case its my word against Harry Revels. I'am not ignorant, I do not have a hearing problem and I'am not a liar. Theres on].y one way out of this, make. Greg look-like a': liar and chronic complainner. I've worked four other nuclear plants and I've never had this problem before.
On page 9,2nd para. Mr. Harry Revels made a faults statement about me passing a copy of my letter to all the inspectors, I let a couple of other inspectors read it. This state-made in this paragraph is a bare faced lie!
On page 10 para. A thur page 11. It is stated again that the NCR I wrote will require all of the cables to be reinspected,then why didn't Harry Revels or someone_tell me this and none of this might have happened. It sounds to me like scmeones trying to cover their behind and make me look like an idiot.
On page 11 2nd para. why all of the sudden does everyone have an open door policy that most of us weren't aware of, until now? As far as going to MC,I like many others don't trust them.
On page 12 para. B. it is stated that other inspectors would not support me. Several of the inspectors interviewed were of a poor choice. One of themc.was B.Tuite, whcm was ment-ioned in one of my allegations. Also I have questionnaires filled out by other inspectors that shows that scme other people out here feel the same, they just don't trust anyone of these organir.ations,(M C, CECO, Quality First,or the NRC). nor do I anymore.
On page 13 para. C. this is talking about my requests to go to ist shift. It was asked in the meeting why I was not chosen but other men, scrne of which never asked for a transfer. to ist shift. This has put a hardship on me and my family, and I feel I have been discriminated against.I shall take action.
On page 14 para. E. It is stated I would kick M. Iachners ass. I said if Mr. Mike Iachner wanted to talk about people the way he does, then he ought to go to the local bar and shoot his mouth off about people, then they could defend them selves.
I don't understand CECOs or M Cs attitude in this whole matter. I was willing to try u d work out the problems but nothing was resolved. During this meeting everybody was to cusy defending them selves and saying there are no problems here, if only this were ture then none of this would have happened W T T"*?b Q W ? $ &
