We acknowledge receipt of Braidwood " Cable Separation Report" BRCSR No. 62 dated June 10, 1986 with your letter dated June 17, 1986.
BRCSR No. 62 transmitted copies of L. K. Comstock &
Company Cable Separation Conflict Report (CSCR) Nos. 0511, 0512, 0513, 0514, 0515, 0516, 0517, 0518, 0519 and 0520 for review.
Each of these CSCRs reported instances of less than the twelve-inch required separation between safety-related and non-safety related cables in free air.
This separation requirement is dictated by the Electrical Contractor 's Installation Procedures.
We have reviewed each of these CSCRs and have determined that the violations of the separation requirement described do not degrade Class lE circuits below an acceptable level for the CSCRs listed below.
The analyses performed to justify the separations reported on the CSCRs are documented on Byron /Braidwood CSCV No.1988, dated July 14, 1986, which is on file at Sargent & Lundy.
Based cr our review, we therefore recommend that you approve L. K. Comstock CSCR Nos. 0511, 0512, 0513, 0514, 0515, 0516, 0517, 0518, 0519 and 0520.
This completes our review of BRCSR No. 62.
