In order to incorporate Revision 7 of your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP), which was dated January 31, 1986, we are revising License Condition 2.1 of your Amendment SG-2. The Plan revision, which was submitted under your cover letter of March 1, 1986 (reference
- LA-86-17), represents an entire updated version of your FNMCP. Thus, revised Condition 2.1 has been simplified by the deletion of references to previous revisions. In a letter to Westinghouse from the NRC Region II office, dated May 9, 1986, it was acknowledged that the revised FNMCP submittal was consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c).
We are also deleting Condition 2.1.2 from Amendment SG-2 as it is no longer applicable. This matter was discussed on June 3, 1986, with your Bob Williams and Don Joy of my staff.
Accordingly, License Condition 2.1 of Amendment SG-2 to your License No.
SNM-1107 is hereby revised, effective immediately, to read as stated below, and Condition 2.1.2 is hereby deleted.
2.1 The licensee shall follow Chapters 1.0 through 8.0 and Appendices A, B, C, D, and AA of its Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan, Revision 7, dated January 31, 1986; and as may be amended pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c).
