&ca.. Apt The report addressing the on-site audit of the WhP-2 prelininary design assessnent is enclosed. The report lists or describes human engineering discrepancies (llEDs) identified by the UNP-2 review team or by the NRC during the June 6-9 on-site audit. These HEDs have been categorized by the staff to reflect no action, hRC action, or applicant action.
Part A describes those control room features that could not be reviewed by the staff during the June 6-9 visit.
These itens nust be reviewed and evaluated by the applicant and any identified HEDs reported to the NRC with a proposed design solution and implementation schedule.
Part B lists those applicant-identified HEDs for which no further action is required.
Part C lists those applicant-identified HEDs for which appropriate corrections have been proposed but not implemented.
These corrections need to be verified by the fiRC prior to licensing.
Part D describes those HEDs identified by the review tean during the June 6-9 site visit.
These HEDs must be reviewed by the applicant and proposed resolution /implenentation schedules submitted to the fiRC.
Part E describes those applicant-identified HEDs for which the review team does not agree with the applicant's proposed resolution. We expect an applicant response for each of these itcas.
Part F describes those applicant-identified HEDs for which the proposed solution is satisfactory but the schedule for correction is not. We expect an applicant response for each of these items.
