SUBJECT:

ESTI:!ATED C0!'PLETION DATE OF GSB SSER IrlPUT FOR Ur!P-2 0F JUNE 30,1982 5!e estinate that our completion date for the SSER input for !!!!P-2 will be June 30, 1992. DOL is aware of our date and has undertaken action to modify.the Devill schedule. The justifications for the June 30th date are listed below.,

1.

The applicant has not yet provided all the documentation necessary to close several significant open issues. Documentation on the Southeast Anticline Fault will not he submitted until June.4, 1982.

"o dates have been agreed to bytthe applicant.for subnittal of the answers to the swam earthquakes (0363.16) or data on Cochran's aeophysical infomation, although we expect the documentation during June.

2.'. HaroldLefohrewillbe.takingatriptoherifythedatausedtoreach conclusions on the capability of the Southeast Anticline Fault, the week of June 13, 1982. The trip is dependent on subnission of documentation by June 4, 1982 by the applicant.

3.

TheU.S.GeologicalSurheywillbeunabletosubnittheirreport until June 23, 1902.

In order to complete their report they require a response to their questions (Q361.20-25).. The applicant said their response will be submitted on June 11, 1932.

In sumary, we expect all.the infomational needs to be completed in June, and therefore we will be able to issue a relatively complete SSER without significant open issues by June 30, 1982 unless significa t new problems n

arise.
