YOUR REQUEST FOR STATUS OF APPENDIX R FOR VIRGIL SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION The Summer plant in April 1981 committed to meeting Sections III. G, III. J, and III. O of Appendix R, and in June requested certain exceptions which are unnecessary according to R. Ferguson.
These statements have not been reflected in an SER and the Fire Protection Section has agreed to issue a supplement the first week of September. The separation criteria have been met (P 9-22);
however, ASB is evaluating their concerns, if any, as a part of our request for review of NTOL plants for which SERs were issued, prior to May 1981.
