SUBJECT:

WflP-2 DES SCliEDULE IMPACT The current schedule calls for our DES input on the " Environmental Impact of Postulated Accidents" chapter for WilP-2, to Division of Licensing by June 30, 1981. To accomplish this, we needed population data input from the Siting Analysis Branch (DE) by June 5, 1981. The SAS, however, has identified serious inconsistencies in the applicant's population data, and is still attempting to resolve the inconsistencies.

Since SAB has not been able to give us an estimated date when they can provide this necessary data, this is to advise that we must slip the June 30, 1981 target date to a date 17 working days after receipt of the population data from SAB.
