In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE 80 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, enclosed is a requested amendment to licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 (enclosure 1). The proposed changes delete surveillance requirement (SR) 4.6.1.8.d.4 (units 1 and 2) and revise SRs 4.7.8.d.4 and 4.9.12.d.3 and associated bases (units 1 and 2). These changes are based on i calculations which indicate that the minimum heater capacity required is significantly less than the manufacturer's ratings currently listed in technical specifications. A typographical error in SR 4.7.8.d.4 (unit 1) is also corrected. The justification for the proposed technical specification changes is provided in enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in enclosure 3.

Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12.
