ONGOING STUDIES WITHIN AE0D (JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, 1987)

Enclosed for your information and use is a listing of currently active or recently completed AE0D studies involving reactor and nonreactor operational events.

Each study is identified by the responsible AE0D organizational unit and engineer, an assignment number, and a brief description of the current status.

When completed, each study will normally be documented and issued as either a technical review (TR) report, an engineering evaluation (EE) report, or a case study (CS) report. The report type will depend on the nature, seriousness, and safety implications of the event, and any associated AEOD recommendations. The completed and issued final study reports are identified in the status column by an AE0D report number.

If additional information or discussion is required for any specific study, please contact either the responsible engineer or the supervisor (Stuart Rubin for ROAB studies, Mark Williams for PTB studies, and Kathleen Black for NAS studies). Additionally, these individuals would appreciate continuing to know about related activities within your offices that should be considered in either scoping or completing ongoing studies, j
