This is to advino you of the status of Local 160's requent for a hearing with the Nuclear Regulatory Commincion on the recent order to Show Caune.

Local 160 has requested a hearing on the October 20, 1986 Order issued by the Corainnion's Offico of Inspection and Enforcement.

The requent for a hearing is presently in the hando of the Commission itnolf in Washington.

Since this is a new e

insuo not confronted before, the Commission is deciding whether to empanol an Atomic Safety and Licensing Board, to t

l appoint an Administrative Law Judge or to even honr the cano thounolven.
