STATUS OF UMTRA VICINITY PROPERTY ACTIVITIES THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1986 Introduction The attached table provides the vicinity property cumulative status by major designated sites through December 31, 1986.
This report updates the status for the period July 1 through December 31, 1986. The status updates for sites with significant activity during the six-month period are summarized below.
Summary of Status Updates Canonsburg The remedial action at the site is complete.
During this report period the following actions were completed:
one property was included, nine were excluded, six REAs were approved, 29 completion reports were issued, and 20 properties were certified.
Salt Lake City During this report period the following actions were completed:
eight properties were included, seven were excluded, 15 REAs were approved, two completion reports were issued, and one property was certified.

. Grand Junction-During this report period the following actions were completed:
661' properties were included, 883 properties were excluded, 472 REAs were
~ approved, 37 completion reports were issued, and no properties were.
certified.
Durango During this report period the following actions were completed:
eight properties were included, 37 were excluded, eight REAs were approved, two completion reports were issued, and one property was certified.
Shiprock The remedial action scheduled for Shiprock vicinity properties has been completed. One property was certified and 11 completion reports are-currently being processed for certification.
Edgemont During this report period no changes have occurred on the vicinity property status.
