B0MB THREATS The Boston Globe newspaper was notified at 12:30 a.m. on August 24, 1986 that bombs would explode at Seabrook Station, Seabrook, New Hampshire and Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Plymouth, Massachusetts within the next 18 hours2.083333e-4 days <br />0.005 hours <br />2.97619e-5 weeks <br />6.849e-6 months <br />. The newspaper notified the Massachusetts State Police who notified the New Hampshire State Police.
The Massachusetts State Police notified the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station at 12:57 a.m. A f bomb search procedure was imediately started inside the plant, and enhanced security measures were implemented. The search was completed at 4:35 a.m. and yielded negative results. The additional security measures were terminated at 9:00 p.m. on August 24, 1986.
The New Hampshire State Police notified Seabrook Nuclear Station at 1:17 a.m. A bomb search procedure was started immediately at the site. The search was completed at 6:19 a.m. with negative results.
The FBI was notified by the licensees. The Information Assessment Team, State of New Hampshire and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have been notified.
