NRC/ Licensee Meeting of February 2, 1987 This refers to a meeting held at the NRC Region I Office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1987 between NRC Region I staff members and represen-tatives of GPU Nuclear Corporation, in behalf of Saxton Nuclear Experimental Cor-poration. The meeting was conducted at the licensee's request.
A licensee meeting notice, issued on January 28, 1987, is attached as Enclosure 1.
Meeting attendees are listed in Enclosure 2.
At this meeting, licensee representatives briefed the NRC Region I staff regarding (1) the status of dewatering the Saxton radioactive waste disposal facility (RWDF) and pipe tunnel, (2) RWDF basement radiological survey results, (3) information gained from these efforts, and (4) future actions at Saxton.
The licensee's brief-ing agenda and facility diagrams are attached as Enclosure 3.
The one-hour meeting was limited to a presentation of information by the licensee's representatives, as supplemented by their oral answers to the staff's questions.
No reply to this letter is required.
