October, 1986 NARRATIVE SUMMAR'Y OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the begining of the month, the plant was at 100% power.
On October 10th, power was reduced to 75% to perform turbine valve and excess flow check valve testing.
- On October 11th, power was increased to 100%.
On October 19th, the unit was manually tripped.
Grounding straps on the main transformer were found to be degraded.
On October 20th, power was increased to 99%.
On October 21st, power was increased to 100%.
Pow r remained at 100% for the remainder of the month.
