EXT. 301 at Ginna MONTH October, 1986 The reactor power level was maintained at 100% for the majority of the report period, with two exceptions:

On 10/16 the reactor power level was reduced to approximately 98% for a short period to perform a Periodic Test on the Auxiliary Feedwater System.

On 10/23 a forced outage occurred due to a reactor trip caused by I&C personnel grounding out the power supply to LT-460 (Level Transmitter, "A" S/G wide range level.)

This caused a voltage transient on instrument Bus 1-C which resulted in a Turbine Runback with subsequent reactor trip on high pressurizer pressure.

The unit went back into service on 10/24; 100%

reactor power level was achieved on 10/25 and remained there until the end of the report period.
