ORDER (Setting Expedited Schedule For Replying To Motion For Reconsideration)

Today the Board received by telecopier transmittal a document styled "Suffolk County, State of New York, and Town of Southampton Motion For Reconsideration of Schedule." In it, movants request that the Board reconsider its January 14, 1987 Order establishing a discovery and hearing schedule for litigation of issues involving Applicant's latest reception center proposal. As part of the relief sought, they want the proceeding held in abeyance.

Because the schedule set out in the Order began to run with its issuance, and will continue to run despite the filing of the subject motion, it is appropriate to require an expedited schedule for filing replies. reply to the motion for reconsideration is set for all of the parties, except Staff, for noon, January 30, 1987, when the reply is due in the hands of the Board and the parties. Staff is required to make its filing in the hands of the Board and the parties by the close of business on February 3, 1987.

The parties will be notified of the contents of this Order by telephone this day.
