Dear Mr. Keppler,
Zion Station will be performing Inservice Inspection activities on Unit 2 during the upcoming refueling outage.
These inspections are presently scheduled to begin mid March, 1987 and should be completed by mid June, 1987.
The inspections will include volumetric, surface and visual inspections of ASME Class 1, 2,
and 3 components and eddy current testing of steam generators.
System leakage test inspections will also be performed this outage on these components.
The second interval program will be used this outage.
We expect to have the detailed inspection program available for your review by the third week of March.
