Dean Marchant League of Towns in opposition to your decision to hold the Offsite Hearings in Concord, N.H.

s /fs-7s e

As was pointed out to you in previous hearings, the Sea-brook nuclear plant is located in the Seacoast of N.H.,

and has the greatest impact on this region of the State.

The Hearings should be held in this area, in order that the public (taxpayers and voters) are given the opportunity to attend, should they wish to do so.

Since this is not a hearing concerning a nuclear war nor

- a terrorist attack, we do not see how holding the hearings g in a " Federally Secure" building can be justified. This 18 a hearin9 ncernin9 a private, money-making company, 5 which is impacting upon the lives, property, health and g a.

o rights of the publict rights which are ensured by the S constitution of this great land.

8 We, therefore, as a grass-roots group of cities, towns,

$ organizations and the public, ask that you reconsider your decision and hold these "public" hearings where the "public" og which is most concerned can easily attend. Thank you.
