Gentlemen:
This refers to the enforcement conference conducted at the request of the NRC
at your office on July 21, 1986. This conference related to activities
authorized by NRC Licenses R-25 and R-126 for the University of Utah's AGN-201
and TRIGA reactors. This conference was attended by you, representatives of
your staff, and NRC Region IV personnel.
The subjects discussed at this conference are described in the enclosed
meeting summary.
It is our opinion that this enforcement conference was beneficial and has
provided a better understanding of your planned activities to improve certain
areas of your reactor program. In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's
" Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of
this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
Should you have any questions concerning this conference, we will be pleased
to discuss them with you.
Sincerely,
'fL.u.;_: CL.;J 4:"
