Reactor Operations Improvement Plan On September 10, 1985, a meeting was held between Region III and Detroit Edison to discuss operational occurrences at our Fermi 2 Plant. As a result of that meeting, Detroit Edison submitted a Reactor Operations Improvement Plan (Reference 2) and later provided additional information transmitted in References 3 and 4.
In order to more accurately describe Fermi 2 activities, as identified in Reference 4, the Reactor Operations Improvement Plan was revised as follows:
Item 54:
The Maintenance Support Engineer (MSE) reviews Potential Design Changes (PDCs) and Engineering Design Packages (EDPs) to minimize plant changes.
Due to recent reorganization, the title of Plant Support Engineer (PSE) has been replaced by the more accurate title of Maintenance Support Engineer (MSE). In addition, Engineering Evaluation Requests (EERs) have been replaced by Potential Design Changes (PDCs).

To better accomodate the NSS and not detract his attention from the events with the plant, he will have the flexibility to conduct status meetings once a shift as his activities allw.
