January 20, 1987 Docket Nos. 50-277 50-278 Mr. D.R. Muller, Director BWR PB #2 Division of BWR Licensing U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C.

SUBJECT:
Philadelphia Electric Company In-House Reload Licensing
REFERENCE:
Letter, S.L. Daltroff (PECo) to D.R. Muller (USNRC),
" Philadelphia Electric Company In-House Reload Licensing", dated August 29, 1986.
Dear Mr. Muller:
In previous correspondence and meetings with the NRC, Philadelphia Electric Company had established Peach Bottom Unit 3 startup with Reload 7 in September, 1988, for the first application of In-House Reload Licensing.
Since that time, the expected Unit 3 outage duration has been better defined and consequently, we no longer believe it feasible to make first application for Peach Bottom 3 Reload 7 due to an expected earlier ctartup schedule.
We are now planning first application for Peach Bottom 2 Reload 8 in November of 1988.
In keeping with our commitment to keep you up-to-date on our reload cpplication schedules so that you may plan for review of our Topical Reports, we wish to provide the revised submittal dates for the Methods Reports as follows:
Topical Reports Submittal Date Fuel Performance 6/1/87 Transient Analysis 8/1/87 Physics 9/1/87 Reload Safety Evaluation 11/1/87 h
