The following information is provided as amplification to our February 18, 1987 letter concerning Confirmatory-Item 55, as discussed in a February 25, 1987 conference call with members of the NRC ' staff.
The annunciator associated with the electric steam boiler line is located in Panel QPCP in the Unit 1 control room (see FSAR figure 18.1-1).
The electric steam boiler line serves both units, and as such is considered a common system.
The annunciator windows for the common systems 'are in the left most section of the Unit 1 panel (as denoted in FSAR figure 18.1-2 sheet 7).
This' location is in close proximity of the Unit 1/ Unit 2 Control Room center line (as can be seen in' FSAR figure 12.3.1-1 sheet 29).
